Educational Event Sponsorship

Medical science evolves rapidly and we are pleased to offer support to healthcare professionals to continue their education to provide the best patient care possible. 

If you are an INDIVIDUAL HCP or HCO member who is seeking funding from AbbVie to enable attendance at an educational event, please apply here. There is NO need to submit a separate cover letter or letter of request with the application.

Please note, funding to attend an educational event is in no way dependent on or conditional upon the prescription, use, recommendation, dispensing or administration of an AbbVie Product.

Applications for individual sponsorship must be submitted a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the educational event to allow for assessment, final approval and agreements to be signed (please allow longer for international events).

• AbbVie is unable to support funding where the event venue emphasises leisure or sporting facilities.
• AbbVie will arrange the travel directly. AbbVie will not reimburse you for any travel, accommodation, or registration fees if you incur costs directly. Please note that AbbVie arranges and books airfare that provides the most direct and practical route to and from the Educational Event without providing additional time for purposes unrelated to the Educational Event.
• AbbVie will not reimburse for incidental expenses associated with your event attendance.
• AbbVie will not extend funding support to include guests, family members or companions.
