SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA November 3, 2022 – AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) today announced the company has been named on the inaugural Great Place to Work Best Workplaces for Women list, joining only 30 Australian organisations to make the cut. The achievement follows AbbVie Australia ranking fifth place in the Great Place to Work Best Workplaces List (medium organisation category) earlier this year.
Celebrating the achievement, General Manager and Vice President of AbbVie ANZ, Nathalie McNeil said, “Embracing diversity, equality and inclusion is central to our culture and our mission as an organisation. AbbVie Australia has a strong track record of prioritising the career development of women as demonstrated by 75% female representation at every level of our organisation, including senior leadership.
“To succeed with any diversity and inclusion strategy, organisations must plan, resource and measure in the same way they would for any critical business initiative. I am proud to lead an organisation that invests in gender equity for the long term and this achievement is recognition of that,” she said.
The Best Workplaces for Women™ list is determined using Great Place to Work's® For All™ methodology to evaluate hundreds of Certified™ Great Place to Work® organisations across Australia. The list is not ranked, and data is based on over 20,000 employee survey responses from women in Great Place to Work ® Certified™ organisations across Australia.
